This Valentine’s Day, LEGO Stores hosted a special building event for couples. Here’s the rose they were giving away to build:
My local LEGO Store didn’t actually host this as an event. They were merely giving out boxes of the pieces along with printed instructions. However, I imagine some LEGO Stores did have the couples hang out there and build the roses together. The event description on the LEGO events calendar made it sound like that would be the case. It’s worth noting too that the LEGO Flatiron Store only received 50 of these, so the promotion was very limited.

You can also check the pictures in the gallery below to see my progression as I built the rose. If you’re a busy sort without the time to build a 26-piece LEGO Rose, you can buy one on Amazon already assembled! This one is glued together and has a metal rod through it to keep it that way.
